About Drum Stick

Drumsticks taste somewhat similar to asparagus, with a hint of green beans but a tad bit sweeter due to the immature seeds inside. The flesh is juicy but the seeds are crunchy. Drumsticks can be fried, cooked, used in stews, soups or broth. They can be made into curry with other vegetables or on their own. Due to their unique flavour, they can compliment any other vegetables and add flavour to them.

Drumsticks are long fruits having three sided capsule with globular seeds which have whitish papery wings. Both the flesh and seeds of the drumsticks are edible.
